United Gosus signs Helena Heredia

Barcelona, December 1, 2012 – United Gosus (UG) is proud to announce that they have signed Spains’s Helena Heredia to a three-month Marketing internship, effective as of December 1, 2012.

Helena studies Media at the prestigious University of Granada and looks to use UG as an outlet to develop herself both professionally and as a player. United Gosus members are very high on Heredia, as she possesses a wide array of talents not seen since PJ Tierney resigned as VP, External last year. Heredia offers that rare combination of marketing knowledge, competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! knowledge, proficiency in Adobe suite, and unbridled ambition.

She only started playing a little over a year ago, and has quickly become a dominant force in the competitive scene of Granada. Her competitive prowess is a great compliment to her marketing skillset, as potential is very high for her to take a spot and perhaps even the title at this year’s WCQ: Spanish National Championship. If the latter is the case, she would become the first female to win a Premier title.

Heredia becomes only the second female to join the ranks of United Gosus; the first was Yvonne Gubser, during a stint lasting from 2007 to 2008.
