#TBT: The Evolution of Soner’s Hair

Faux Hawk (2010-2011)
Soner dropped the mullet in the back and let his sides grow in to adopt more of a tame look that still had character. Güngör’s new cut was definitely more employable but the connected-top Faux Hawk did not bring him much success. However, it did reach the quarter-finals of YCS Paris in 2011 during the later end of era of the Samurai right before Tengu Plants became all the rage.
Unfortunately, Soner’s new ‘do wasn’t powerful enough to hang with Vincent Ralambomiadana’s Buzzcut, as the French Powerhouse eliminated him from the tournament. Stephan Sluis’ Buzzcut would eventually win the tournament, just like he said it would.
