Overview
I used the Scolding-Version because I haven’t played YGO since YCS Prague, so I felt I was inferior in the mirror match and my best chance was to steal easy games with Djinn. I want to thank my whole team for their support and especially Long Dao and Alumnus Federico Zoppini!
In Swiss I faced Gladiator Beast (2-0), Patrik Rieder (1-2, without my mistakes it would have ended 3-0 in my favour), Blackwing (2-0), Satella Knight (2:0), Qli (2:1), B.A (2:0) Nekroz (2:1), Shaddoll (2:1 in time). I lost my Top 16 Match because my opponent started the third game with Evolzar Laggia (via Rescue Rabbit) + Anti-Spell Fragrance + Mistake + Fiendish Chain.
I was really satisfied with my Deck choice, but I would cut the Armageddon Knight, since the times it was useless exceeded the times it was needed for the Djinn-Lock. Probably a second Trish is the way to go instead. In the Sidedeck should be made room for a thrid Denko Sekka. I decided against running Raigeki or Book of Eclipse in the Maindeck because I don’t play Max “C”. My plan was to interrupt my opponent’s Djinn-Plays instantly with a whole playset of Effect Veilers. The second Djinn was super awesome!
Thanks for reading!
Claudio’s and Patrik’s Deck will follow tomorrow alongside a YouTube-Deck-Feature.
