The nineth and final constructed stop on the YCS circuit for the September 2012 Format took place in Santiago, Chile through February 22-24, 2013. There were 399 competitors in the main event. Official coverage from the event can be found here.

Rabbit won its second event of the format and proved itself a very dominant force in the developing metagame of Latin America. However, with only 339 competitors and it being the end of the September 2012 format, this event will likely not have any long term implications on future metagames. Moreover, this event may prove to be Rabbit’s swan song due to Sangan being forbidden from play for the March 2013 format. This sanction on top of the semi-limitation of “Rescue Rabbit” and “Tour Guide From the Underworld,” which will carry over from the September 2012 Forbidden/Limited list, does not forecast a very bright future for the cute little bunny and his prehistoric pals.
