YCS Providence Results

The fourth constructed stop on the YCS circuit for the September 2012 Format took place in Providence, Rhode Island through October 19-21, 2012. There were a 1154 competitors in the main event. Official coverage from the event can be found here.

Geargia made its debut at YCS Toronto, where it took up 12.50% of the Top Cut. It held its ground with the same percentage in Guatemala, and saw a slight jump up to 15.63% in Indianapolis, which it maintained this weekend. Geargia has been used as pure self-supporting deck, but also in variants that use it to support over Machine based archetypes with powerful boss monsters like Machina Fortress and the Bureis and Bureidos of Karakuri. The Machina-Geargia variant is perceived as the strongest of all, but that was not what pulled out the win this weekend:
