Soner Güngör

I’m Soner Güngör and I am a founding member of United Gosus. Some people call me the grandpa of the game, because I have been playing for so long. I started playing after I watched the anime series in 2003 and discovered their was a real life version of the game. This gave me another hobby to enjoy, aside from football (soccer).

I went straight to my local hobby shop and bought a pack of Pharaoh’s Servant, pulling a Super Rare Limiter Removal. This was the beginning of many great successes for me in Yu-Gi-Oh!. A year later, I placed 3rd in the German National Championship. I went on to top many Pharaoh Tours and Ycs`s, eventually winning my first Premier title on that circuit. My second title came at the DS German National Champion. After that i became top 8 at the World Championship ín Tokyo. Throughout the years, I’ve become known for my consistent, innovative decks and tech cards, as I like to look through older sets for new ideas, such as the Skull Lair deck that I made popular.

After I graduated high school, I finished training as Office Administrator and at the moment I’m studying business economics in cologne . My goal now is to finish in the Top 4 of the European Championship and attend on the TCG World Championship.

My motto: “Be always confident with your deck!”
