Top Cut Meta Analysis

At YCS Chicago, there was almost a three-way tie in top cut meta control between Rabbit, Dragons, and Inzektor. In hindsight, this may have just been because of a lapse in confidence of Rabbit players following the ruling update to fast effect timing. The status quo set in Chicago was one of equal dominance between these three. You would have expected Dragon and Inzektor to stay on par with or finally outshine Rabbit thanks to the power boosts these decks got from Galactic Overlord. However, that was not the case, and confidence in Rabbit has been reaffirmed during Week Six. Rabbit is back to typical form set during the September 2011 format, as well as the pre-National Season portion of this format, filling 16 of the 32 available Top Cut slots.
