United Gosus signs Sorosh Saberian

Halifax, November 21, 2012 – United Gosus (UG) is proud to announce that they have signed Canada’s Sorosh Saberian to a one-year Player internship, effective as of November 21, 2012.

Saberian has appeared in 6 Premier Top Cuts. His Premier playoff debut came in 2008 at SJC Toronto with an innovative Dark Creator Turbo build. Since then, his dedication to innovation has not ceased, seeing him through to his 6th Premier playoff appearance at this past weekend’s YCS Tacoma. There, he piloted the newly released Mermail deck, fitted with Spiritual Water Art – Aoi, to a Top 4 finish.

The feeling that Sorosh will make a great addition to the UG North American base is quite universal internally. UG members have been extremely impressed with Sorosh commitment to consistent success, having topped two YCS events since submitting his application in August. However, perhaps even more impressive than his competitive record is his attitude toward sportsmanship and professionalism. Saberian showed an example of this during the Swiss rounds of this past weekend’s YCS by appealing a gameloss for his opponent who could not speak English very well.
