United Gosus signs Patrik Rieder

Halifax, September 21, 2012 – United Gosus (UG) is proud to announce that they have signed Austria’s Patrik Rieder to a one-year Player internship, effective as of September 13, 2012.

Rieder found success very early in his Yu-Gi-Oh! career, winning the 2006 Austrian Junior Championship, which is the predecessor of today’s WCQ: Dragon Duel Championship but on a National level. He followed that win up quickly by placing in the Top 16 of the now-defunct Pharaoh Tour circuit when in stopped in Liezen, Austria later that year. He fell into a bit of slump following the 2007 Austrian National Championship, but has since regained his rhythm and is more motivated than ever before. UG members are quite impressed with his ambition and recent Premier track record, and are looking forward to many great things to come from this roster addition.

Patrik has appeared in 6 Premier Top Cuts, mostly recently finishing in the Top 16 of Sheffield. You can view Patrik’s full profile here.
