My Tournament Match-Ups

Day 1

Round 1: Feature Match: Geargia vs Madolche (2:0) Win

My opponent was not an experienced player so I won easily with a big field including a Number 106: Giant Hand.

Round 2: Geargia vs Noble Knights 1:2 Lost

Game 1: He started with Trap Stun and summoned Artorigus, King of the Noble Knights which destroyed my backrow.
Game 2: I started with Geargiarmor and Bottomless Trap Hole. I removed his Normal Summon and he ended without backrow. I already had a Geargiaccelerator and a Geargiano Mk-II in hand so flip summoned my Geargiarmor and searched another Geargiaccelerator. Now I was able to deal 8000 damage: Summoning both Geargiaccelerator from the hand XYZ-Summon the first Gear Gigant X, detach for another Geargiaccelerator and summon it. Make the second Gear Gigant X with my Geargiaccelerator and Geargiarmor, detached for another Geargiaccelerator. Summoned Geargiano Mk-II to revive one Geargiaccelerator, summoned the other from my hand and make Number 103: Ragnazero. Now my field was 2x Gear Gigant X (2300 Atk) + 1 Number 103: Ragnazero (2400 Atk) + Geargiano Mk-II (1000 Atk) = 8K Damage.
Game 3: Same as the first game, there was nothing I could do against it.

Round 3: Geargia vs Evilswarm 2:1 Win

Game1: I grinded the game, he Solemn Warning’d one Gear Gigant X of mine, but then I could OTK him.
Game 2: He just beatdowned with his 1950 beaters and I drew only useless Wiretaps and Dimensional Prisons.
Game 3: He got an important Evilswarm Exciton Knight with Infestation Pandemic and I lost my whole field. After that I set one Ice Hand and a Needle Ceiling. He topdecked a Rescue Rabbit and was really happy about that. He summoned it and specialed two Evilswarm Heliotrope and I flipped my Needle Ceiling. This was all I needed to win.

Round 4: Geargia vs Madolche 2:1 Win

Game1: He Trap Stunned me and went off with the Madolche Queen Tiaramisu combo.
Game2: He tried again to Trap Stun me but this time I had a Wiretap to counter it. I was able to negate his summons with my Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmares and win.
Game3: I started with the best hand in the whole tournament with double Geargiagear, Maxx “C”, Solemn Warning, Wiretap and Mystical Space Typhoon. Needless to say I won pretty fast.

Round 5: Geargia vs Bujin 2:1 Win

Cannot remember the whole match but I won with Fire Hand/Ice Hand together with Skull Meister.

Round 6: Geargia vs Mermail 2:1 Win

Game 1: I started with an Geargiarsenal and summoned an Geargiaccelerator in defense position and tried to end but he activated Abyss-sphere in my Mainphase; I chained Maxx “C”, he summoned Mermail Abysslinde, then Mermail Abysspike into a Genex Undine. On his turn he Otked me with Mermail Abyssteus + Atlantean Dragoons + Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls + Mermail Abyssmegalo …
Game2: He tried to go off but I had Needle Ceiling. When he tried go off again in the very same turn, using all his remaining resources, I flipped the second Needle Ceiling.
Game 3: He had a bad draw and I had a Needle Ceiling mid game.

Round 7: Geargia vs Evilswarm 2:1 Win

I cannot remember everything but I won with my Fire Hands and Ice Hands.
