Hi everybody, today I want to give you some insight on a Deck that has been flying a bit under the radar mostly due to requiring a very expensive Extra Deck card AKA Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn. I’m talking about Performage-sworn, in this first draft list posted above, I also included a Number 106: Giant Hand, which is not necessary for the Deck to work but is a nice option to have.

These combined archetypes become a very competitive deck in this current meta. Once I saw the deck in action and tested it for myself, I was amazed by the versatility and advantage Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn generated alongside the Performage engine. The synergy between a powerful milling engine such as the Lightsworns and loads of monsters that become useful when sent to the graveyard is obvious, but there is more to this deck than justing milling.

Thanks to some gimmicky plays with Heroic Challenger – Thousand Blades in combination with Performage Trick Clown the Deck is capable of spamming the field with an arsenal of Rank 4 XYZs and deal huge amounts of damage in just a couple turns. It also has a Synchro toolbox at its disposal with Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier and PSY-Framelord Omega being able to apply high pressure.

As a side note, PSY-Framelord Omega can recycle both Jet Synchron and Performage Damage Juggler. Also, Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn is a searcheable LV 4 Tuner that comes with nice stats and a mill-effect which gives you either, a powerful start into Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn or the option to answer your opponent‘s plays with the Synchro monster you need.
Unlike earlier versions of Lightsworn-Decks this Deck is quite consistent and doesn‘t suffer from dead hands as much as its older builds used to. Thanks to Reinforcement of the Army and Charge of the Light Brigade you have access to Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn, Heroic Challenger – Thousand Blades or Photon Thrasher to set up plays.

Last but not least the majority of this deck‘s monsters are LV 4, which make it very easy for the deck to exploit the powerful XYZ toolbox with new engine consisting of Instant Fusion and Elder Entity Norden. If you are fortunate enough to get your hands on a copy of Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn I would strongly recommend you to give this deck a try as it is great deal of fun to play and competitive enough to challenge the other top decks in the meta.

Thank you for your attention and feel free to discuss below!
